Welcomes All Families to be Partners in the Education

of thier Children  

PTA is the largest volunteer parent organization in the United States. It comprises more than 5 million members devoted to the educational success of children & the  promotion of parent involvement in schools.  PTA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that prides itself on being a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families & communities, and a strong advocate for public education.     

 PTA Membership is only $5.00 per member

When parents get involved, Everyone Benefits!  

It takes all of us working together for the children! 

More than 30 years of research shows that children do better when their parents and families are involved both at home and at school.  Grades are higher.  Test scores rise.  Self-esteem grown.  Schools improve.  You can make these outcomes a reality for your child, your school, and your community by being involved in PTA. 

Everyone benefits from PTA involvement.  

A strong PTA membership is indicative of a strong PTA and studies show that students whose parents are involved achieve higher!  We have a proud history in Shelby County to have strong PTAs and Bon Lin Elementary is part of that history.

Who should join PTA?   Any parent, guardian, grandparent, and extended family members are those we think of first.  Also, as a neighbor to join.  They have a vested interest in the education of these students. 

PTA connects schools and communities to help children reach their full potential.  Students achieve when families and teachers partner through PTA for our children.

We always welcome monetary and in-kind donations.  Remember,your PTA contribution is tax deductible.
